This past Saturday we began one of our most ambitious projects—building out a unfinished basement and half a garage to create a much more livable place for a single mom and her twin boys! (See previous post)
We are so grateful to partner with the North River Church to make this dream come true for this extended family.
Mom’s health has limited her ability to manage stairs, so for the past couple of years she and the boys have taken up residence in the basement of her parents home.
The challenges include no plumbing for toilet or shower, inadequate insulation and heating and air, limited living space (everyone in one room)...
We got off to a great start Saturday and are now off and running to make things right!
